The Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete is a slim flagship robot vacuum and mop with a dock that washes mops in near boiling water, dries them, refills water and empties dust for up to 100 days. It is worth it for large homes with lots of hard floor that want the most hands off cleaning. The dock is bulky, and cheaper robots vacuum nearly as well.
What the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete is
The X60 Max Ultra Complete is Dreame's top robot vacuum and mop. Dreame rates it at 35,000 Pa of suction and 3.13 inches tall, so it fits under more furniture than most docked robots Dreame ↗. A VersaLift sensor rises when needed and drops for low clearances down to 3.19 inches Dreame ↗.
It climbs double layer steps up to 3.47 inches and single steps up to 1.77 inches Dreame ↗. Two AI cameras and a light help it recognize more than 280 object types, down to 10 mm, and it can spot pet bowls and litter boxes Dreame ↗.
The "Complete" part is the dock and the extras. The dock washes the mop pads, dries them with hot air, refills the robot's water, doses two cleaning solutions and empties dust into a 3.2 liter bag that lasts about 100 days Dreame ↗. The Complete version adds an accessory bag with spare brushes, filters, bags, three pairs of mop pads and a liter of cleaning solution Dreame ↗.
What it does well
Reviewers rate it highly. Tom's Guide named it the best overall robot vacuum in its 2026 roundup Tom's Guide roundup ↗. Its full review gave it an Editor's Choice award and called it an exceptional robot with strong mopping and a customizable app Tom's Guide review ↗.
Cleaning results were near perfect in that review. On hardwood it picked up 100 percent of hair, cereal and flax seeds; on carpet it got 96 percent of hair, 98.5 percent of cereal and all the flax seeds Tom's Guide review ↗. The cheaper Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2 managed only about 40 percent of carpet hair in the same kind of test Tom's Guide review ↗.
Mopping is a highlight. The robot mops with 104 degree water, and Tom's Guide said it cleaned up soy sauce, mayonnaise and dried mud with no sticky residue Dreame ↗ Tom's Guide review ↗. The mops tilt and extend about 1.57 inches to reach edges, lift 10.5 mm over carpet and detach for high pile rugs Dreame ↗. The dock washes the mop board with 212 degree water Dreame ↗.
Setup was quick. Tom's Guide said mapping took about 10 minutes, and the free DreameHome app stores maps for several floors Tom's Guide review ↗.
Where it falls short
The dock is big. Tom's Guide measured it at 15.7 by 18.0 by 15.4 inches and 23.4 pounds, and its power cord is only 3.9 feet long Tom's Guide review ↗. You need a spot near an outlet with real floor space.
Carpet is its relative weak spot. Tom's Guide's roundup notes that carpet cleaning of hair and large debris was slightly weaker than on hard floors Tom's Guide roundup ↗.
Spec sheets disagree. Tom's Guide lists 42,000 Pa suction, available only at the highest app setting, while Dreame's US page says 35,000 Pa Dreame ↗ Tom's Guide review ↗. Dreame's page also does not state a runtime per charge; Tom's Guide cites a 242 minute figure from the spec sheet but did not test it Dreame ↗ Tom's Guide review ↗.
Running costs add up. Replacement mop pads are $36.99 a pair and Dreame suggests replacing them every 1 to 3 months Dreame ↗. Hands on testing is in progress; we will update this review with results.
