Looka is an AI logo maker that turns your business name into logo options and then a full brand kit of matching materials. It is worth paying for if you want real vector files, full ownership of your logo and ready made business cards and social graphics, but its own pricing page hides the prices, so confirm them at checkout.
What Looka is
Looka is a logo and branding tool. You type your business name, and its AI generates logo options you can edit. Designing and previewing is free; you pay only when you want to download Looka pricing ↗ CostBench ↗.
After the logo, Looka sells two paths. You can buy a logo on its own as a one time package, or subscribe to a Brand Kit, billed yearly, that adds more than 300 branded assets pre filled with your company details Looka pricing ↗. A Brand Kit Web subscription adds a website Looka pricing ↗.
You can change everything in the design except the company name Looka pricing ↗.
What it does well
You get proper files. The Premium Logo Package includes high resolution PNG files plus vector EPS, SVG and PDF files, multiple color versions with transparent backgrounds, unlimited changes after purchase, full ownership and lifetime technical support Looka pricing ↗. Vector files let a printer scale your logo to a sign or a van without blurring, which many free logo makers do not offer.
The brand kit saves time. The Brand Kit includes social media profiles and posts, business cards, email signatures, letterheads, invoices and brand guidelines, all matched to your logo Looka pricing ↗. For a new business, that covers most of the basics in one place.
You keep your logo. Looka says you retain the rights to your logo even after a Brand Kit subscription ends Looka pricing ↗.
Delivery is instant. Files download right after purchase and are also emailed Looka pricing ↗. Looka sells internationally and accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal Looka pricing ↗.
Hands on testing is in progress, and we will update this review with what we find.
Where it falls short
Prices are hidden. Looka's pricing page describes each package but shows no amounts Looka pricing ↗. We relied on CostBench, which itself is inconsistent: its table says contact sales while its FAQ lists prices CostBench ↗.
The cheapest package is not enough for most uses. The Basic Logo Package is one low resolution PNG file Looka pricing ↗. That is fine for a profile picture but not for print.
Copyright has limits. Looka's FAQ says you own the copyright in the logo as a whole, but not in individual elements such as symbols Looka pricing ↗. If you want to stop others using a similar mark, Looka suggests registering a trademark Looka pricing ↗.
Brand kits renew automatically. CostBench reports a one year minimum, billed upfront, with auto renewal and cancellation by emailing support CostBench ↗. Looka's pricing page does not mention refunds Looka pricing ↗.
Print quality needs checking. A Trustpilot reviewer quoted by CostBench warned users to check twice before sending Looka designs to print CostBench ↗.
