Yes, a robot can now wet scrub large hard floors on its own, but someone still fills, drains and checks it unless you add a docking station. For most warehouses, big box stores and terminals we would start with the Gausium Scrubber 50 Pro: it lists at $53,600 to buy or $979 a month on a 36 month plan, and an optional workstation refills and drains it. For the very largest floors, get a demo of the Avidbots Neo, which Avidbots rates at up to 42,000 square feet an hour.
Robotic scrubbers have run in stores, airports, warehouses and hospitals for years, but prices are mostly by quote and published specs vary a lot, so a site demo is still the normal way to buy.- Our pickGausium Scrubber 50 Pro$53,600 to buy, or $979/month RaaS on a 36 month term

Gausium Scrubber 50 Pro: our pick
Best for most warehouses, big box stores and terminals that want a published price and less water handling.
The Gausium Scrubber 50 Pro is a full size autonomous scrubber that scrubs, sweeps and dust mops, and it is one of the few in this class with a public price RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗. RobotLAB, its US integrator, lists it at $53,600 to buy and $979 a month on a 36 month robot as a service plan RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗ RobotLAB cleaning robots ↗. It scrubs with a 460 mm (18.1 inch) disc, or a 406 mm roller that reaches 780 mm (30.7 inches) with side brushes RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗.
RobotLAB gives a practical cleaning rate of 5,382 to 13,993 square feet per hour RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗. The tanks are modest at 30 liters clean and 24 liters recovery, but a five stage filtration system recycles solution and RobotLAB claims about 80 percent less fresh water use RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗. It docks itself, and Gausium's optional workstation for the Scrubber 50 adds automatic charging, water refill and water discharge, according to distributor ASBIS RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗ ASBIS, Scrubber 50 workstation ↗.
The main limit is runtime: about 3 hours when scrubbing on a 60 Ah battery, with a 2 hour charge RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗. It also needs an 800 mm (31.5 inch) passage and 1,100 mm to make a U turn, so it is a poor fit for crowded back rooms RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗. RobotLAB does not list warranty terms RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗.

Who this is for
This guide is for facility managers who wet scrub hard floors every night: warehouses and factories, big box retail and groceries, hospitals and clinics, airports, malls and schools. If your floors are mostly carpet, or you only need dust and debris picked up, a vacuum robot is cheaper; see our broader guide to commercial cleaning robots.
Scrubbing buyers have different needs from office buyers. Water is the daily bottleneck: a scrubber lays down solution and must recover dirty water, so tank size, refill and drain access, and whether a dock handles water decide how much staff time you really save. Path width and aisle clearance decide whether the robot can reach the floor at all. Hospitals add infection control and quiet night operation; warehouses add forklifts, pallets and debris that can clog a recovery hose, which is why Avidbots built a separate Neo 2W The Robot Report, Neo 2W ↗.
A robot will not remove the need for people. Someone still moves obstacles, handles alerts, changes pads and squeegees, and does edges and corners by hand.
Why you should trust us
We have not run these machines on our own floors. Our picks rest on maker spec sheets, US integrator listings that publish prices, and news coverage of real deployments. We compared every robotic scrubber in our catalog on the same columns and say plainly where a spec is missing or where two official pages disagree.
We checked prices on RobotLAB's cleaning robot list and each product page in October 2026 RobotLAB cleaning robots ↗. Some vendors may pay us a commission, but that never decides our picks.
How we picked
We kept only robots that wet scrub hard floors. Robots that only vacuum or sweep, such as the Pudu MT1 Vac and LG Vortex, are listed under competition for comparison RobotLAB, MT1 Vac ↗ RobotLAB, LG Vortex ↗. Then we weighted the criteria a facility manager would put in a bid: scrub path width, practical area per hour, clean and recovery tank sizes, runtime per charge, how much of the water and charging the robot handles itself, and whether the buy and robot as a service prices are published.
- Scrub path and squeegee width that match your aisles
- Practical square feet per hour, not just theoretical maximums
- Clean and recovery tank capacity, or water recycling
- Runtime per charge and battery swap options
- Docking that charges, refills and drains without staff
- A published purchase or monthly price, or at least a clear quote process
Buy or robot as a service: the real math
Where prices are public, the monthly plans change the math more than you might expect. The Gausium Scrubber 50 Pro costs $53,600 to buy, while 36 months at $979 comes to $35,244, about $18,400 less RobotLAB cleaning robots ↗. The LionsBot R3 Scrub Pro is the opposite: 36 months at $869 is $31,284, almost exactly its $31,250 purchase price RobotLAB cleaning robots ↗. The Pudu CC1 Pro works the same way, $24,084 over 36 months against $24,000 to buy RobotLAB cleaning robots ↗. RobotLAB says its RaaS plans bundle hardware, software, support and maintenance into one payment RobotLAB cleaning robots ↗.
Throughput matters as much as price. At RobotLAB's practical rate of 5,382 to 13,993 square feet an hour, a 50,000 square foot sales floor would take the Scrubber 50 Pro roughly 3.6 to 9.3 hours, longer than its 3 hour scrubbing charge, so you would need the workstation or a charge break RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗. Avidbots' 42,000 square feet an hour rating for Neo would cover the same floor in about 1.2 hours, if your site matches its test conditions Avidbots Neo ↗.
Ask every vendor the same questions in a demo: practical (not theoretical) square feet per hour on your floor, minutes of scrubbing per tank fill, who fills and drains it each night, warranty length, what a service plan costs, and how the robot handles your elevators and doors.
Before you buy
Walk your floor with a tape measure. The Scrubber 50 Pro needs a 31.5 inch passage and 43.3 inches to U turn RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗. The Kärcher KIRA B 50 climbs slopes of only 6 percent and runs at 69 dB(A), which matters on ramps and in patient areas at night Kärcher KIRA B 50 ↗.
Plan for water and drains. Docking stations that refill and drain need a water supply and a drain near where the robot parks; without one, budget staff time for filling and emptying every shift ASBIS, Scrubber 50 workstation ↗ Kärcher KIRA B 50 ↗. Confirm detergent rules too: Avidbots specifies low or non foaming detergent for Neo Avidbots Neo ↗.
- Measure your narrowest aisle and turning spots
- Find a parking spot with power, water and a drain
- Ask for practical square feet per hour on your floor type
- Get warranty and service plan terms in writing
- Check elevator and door integration for multi floor sites
- Compare 36 month RaaS totals with the purchase price
What to look forward to
More of the water handling is moving into docks. Kärcher's optional KIRA station refills, drains, rinses the tank and charges, and LionsBot and Gausium offer similar stations Kärcher KIRA B 50 ↗ LionsBot brochure ↗ ASBIS, Scrubber 50 workstation ↗. Expect more robots to clean whole shifts without a person touching a tank.
Spot cleaning is improving too. Gausium says the Scrubber 50 Pro uses its camera and AI to find stains and clean them again, and Pudu's CC1 Pro adds spot scrubbing and real time cleaning detection over the original CC1 RobotLAB, Scrubber 50 Pro ↗ Pudu CC1 comparison ↗.
The competition
Kärcher KIRA B 50Contact sales
The Kärcher KIRA B 50 has the most hands off water handling we found: its optional station refills, drains, rinses the tank and charges, and its 55 liter tanks cover about 1,830 square meters per fill Kärcher KIRA B 50 ↗. It runs about 3.5 hours with a charge of up to 5.2 hours, and Kärcher does not publish a price Kärcher KIRA B 50 ↗. Ask for a quote if you want minimal tank handling.
Pudu CC1 ProAround $24,000 to buy, or $669/month RaaS (36 months)
The Pudu CC1 Pro scrubs, sweeps, vacuums and dust mops for $24,000 or $669 a month, and runs about 5 hours scrubbing RobotLAB, CC1 Pro ↗ Pudu CC1 comparison ↗. Its 15 liter tanks and 700 to 1,000 square meters an hour suit offices, clinics and smaller stores more than warehouses Pudu CC1 comparison ↗. It is the top pick in our commercial cleaning robot guide.
Pudu CC1Around $22,000 to buy
The original Pudu CC1 lists at $22,000, has the same 15 liter tanks and 5 hour scrubbing runtime as the Pro, and RobotLAB rates it at 8,000 square feet an hour RobotLAB, CC1 ↗ Pudu CC1 comparison ↗. It lacks the Pro's spot scrubbing and has no published monthly price Pudu CC1 comparison ↗ RobotLAB, CC1 ↗.
Phantas 1.3Around $29,600 to buy, or $829/month RaaS
The Gausium Phantas 1.3 vacuums, sweeps, scrubs and dust mops in a very small body for narrow aisles and under tables Gausium Phantas ↗. RobotLAB lists it at $29,600 or $829 a month RobotLAB cleaning robots ↗. It is a mixed floor cleaner first, so large scrub jobs will need frequent refills.
Pudu MT1 VacAround $20,000 to buy, or $559/month RaaS
The Pudu MT1 Vac covers a lot of floor, but it vacuums, sweeps and dust mops only, with no wet scrubbing RobotLAB, MT1 Vac ↗. RobotLAB lists it at $20,000 or $559 a month RobotLAB cleaning robots ↗.
LG Vortex Vacuum Robot$5,000 to buy (one FAQ says $6,500), or $139/month RaaS on a 36 month term
The LG Vortex is the cheapest commercial cleaning robot on RobotLAB's list at $5,000 or $139 a month, but it vacuums and sweeps only RobotLAB cleaning robots ↗ RobotLAB, LG Vortex ↗. It will not replace a scrubber on sticky or wet floors.
