The Pudu MT1 Vac is a commercial robot vacuum and sweeper that covers up to about 15,069 square feet an hour on carpet and hard floors, with HEPA filtration and AI that adjusts to the floor. At $20,000 or $559 a month it is a strong pick for large carpeted or dusty spaces, but it does not scrub, so Pudu's CC1 Pro covers more jobs for a little more money.
What the Pudu MT1 Vac is
The MT1 Vac is a self driving commercial cleaner from Pudu Robotics that vacuums, sweeps and dust mops RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗. It is built for large indoor areas with carpet, hard floors or both RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗.
It has a 55 cm (21.7 inch) suction path and a 70 cm (27.6 inch) sweeping width with its side brush RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗. RobotLAB, the US integrator that sells it, rates it at up to 1,400 square meters, or about 15,069 square feet, per hour RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗. It weighs 75 kg (165 pounds) RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗.
We have not tested it ourselves. Hands on testing is in progress, and this review uses RobotLAB's published specs.
What it does well
Coverage is high. At up to about 15,069 square feet an hour, it covers several times more floor than smaller vacuum robots such as LG's Vortex, which RobotLAB rates at 2,350 square feet per hour RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗ RobotLAB LG Vortex ↗.
It handles mixed floors. Real time AI floor recognition adjusts suction and brush speed between carpet and hard floor, and AI vision spots dirt that needs extra attention RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗.
Filtration is fine. It ships with a HEPA H11 filter that RobotLAB says captures over 98 percent of 0.3 micron particles, with an H13 filter rated at 99.97 percent available as an option RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗. That matters in clinics, schools and offices where dust is a concern.
It holds a lot of dirt. Total capacity is 20 liters, made up of two 7 liter dust bags and a 6 liter bin RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗. Runtime is 3 to 6.5 hours, about 4 hours in standard mode, and it charges in under 3.5 hours RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗.
It can work across floors. It navigates with visual SLAM, markers and lidar, and IoT links let it use elevators and electronic gates through Pudu's PUDU Link platform RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗.
Where it falls short
It does not scrub or wet mop. Sticky spills and scuffs on hard floors need a scrubber. Pudu's CC1 Pro sweeps, scrubs, vacuums and dust mops in one pass for $24,000, only $4,000 more RobotLAB CC1 Pro ↗.
It needs room. The minimum aisle width is 75 cm RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗, so tight shops and cluttered back rooms may be a problem.
The automatic charging station that enables round the clock operation is listed as sold separately RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗. Factor it into your budget.
RobotLAB does not state a warranty or a RaaS term length on the listing RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗. Its description also mentions a hand vacuum extension that is not in the in the box list, so confirm what ships RobotLAB MT1 Vac ↗.
