The Bear Robotics Servi is the serving robot most full service restaurants should try first. It runs food out and dishes back for 10 to 12 hours a charge at the lowest listed price of any major serving robot. It is worth it for flat floors with wide enough aisles, but get a written quote because listings disagree on price.
What Bear Robotics Servi is
Servi is a self driving serving robot made by Bear Robotics, a Silicon Valley company founded in 2017. It carries plates from the kitchen to tables and brings dirty dishes back on a bus tub, so servers can spend more time with guests Bear Servi ↗ LG press release ↗.
It comes in two layouts. The two tray model carries 22 pounds per tray plus a bus tub, or 66 pounds in total. The one tray model carries 44 pounds Bear Servi ↗. Trays are non slip and dishwasher safe Bear Servi ↗.
Bear has real scale behind it. LG Electronics took a 51 percent controlling stake in January 2025 and moved its own commercial robot business into Bear LG press release ↗. Bear reports more than 93 million restaurant deliveries by its robots as of Q2 2026 Bear Robotics ↗. Hands on testing is in progress.
What it does well
It lasts a full shift. Bear rates the battery for 10 to 12 hours, with about 4 hours to recharge on a wall charger Bear Servi ↗. Most restaurants can charge it overnight and run it all day.
It handles both directions of the job. Internal weight sensors notice when a guest or server takes the plates and send Servi back to its post on its own Bear Servi ↗. The bus tub means the same robot can carry dirty dishes back to the dish pit Bear Servi ↗.
It gets around a normal dining room. Bear says it travels through gaps of 55 to 65 cm, depending on the tray setup, at up to 1.2 meters per second Bear Servi ↗. RobotLAB lists LiDAR and camera sensors with obstacle avoidance and a 7 inch touchscreen RobotLAB Servi ↗.
It scales to more than one robot. A multi robot mode keeps several Servis moving on one floor, and the cloud based Fleet Control Suite tracks usage and allows remote troubleshooting Bear Servi ↗.
Setup is quick. Bear says its internal tests set up a 1,000 square foot room with 10 tables in as little as 14 minutes Bear Servi ↗. RobotLAB lists Servi as NSF certified for food service and offers delivery, setup, staff training and service nationwide RobotLAB Servi ↗. Florida chain Sergio's put a Servi in each of its six restaurants, and its owner said servers earned bigger tips because they had more time with guests Business Insider ↗.
Where it falls short
Pricing is confusing. RobotLAB's Servi page shows $9,990 in the header and spec table but $11,990 in its FAQ RobotLAB Servi ↗. Bear itself does not publish prices or warranty terms and sends buyers to its sales team Bear Servi ↗.
It carries less than bigger robots. At 66 pounds, it holds less than Bear's own Servi Plus or the Keenon DINERBOT T10, which both carry 88 pounds RobotLAB price list ↗ Bear Servi Plus ↗ Keenon T10 ↗. For banquets or long runs, that matters.
Floor plan limits it. It cannot climb steps, uneven patios are a poor fit, and your aisles need to meet the 55 to 65 cm minimum Bear Servi ↗.
There is no ad screen. Rivals like the Keenon T10 have a large screen for promotions, while Servi has a small touchscreen for control RobotLAB Servi ↗ Keenon T10 ↗. Bear also lists no POS integrations on its product page Bear Servi ↗.
Pricing and plans
Bear does not publish prices. RobotLAB lists Servi from $9,990 to buy, the lowest price of any full size serving robot on its list RobotLAB Servi ↗ RobotLAB price list ↗. Its Servi page also quotes $11,990 in one place, so ask for a written quote RobotLAB Servi ↗.
RobotLAB also lists a robot as a service (RaaS) plan at $279 a month on a 36 month term RobotLAB price list ↗. That is about $10,044 over three years, close to the purchase price, so RaaS is a reasonable way to spread the cost.
RobotLAB sells it in the US with delivery, setup, training and ongoing service RobotLAB Servi ↗. Neither Bear nor RobotLAB lists warranty length, software fees or consumables on the pages we checked RobotLAB Servi ↗ Bear Servi ↗. A Stabilizing Tray for drinks and a call button are sold as accessories Bear Servi ↗. Ask your dealer about warranty and Fleet Control Suite costs before you sign.
