OUR VERDICT

Servi Q is Bear Robotics' smallest serving robot, built to fit through 18 inch gaps in tight cafes, bars and corridors. It is promising for small spaces, but Bear has not published its price, payload or battery life, and our US integrator source does not list it yet, so most restaurants should buy a proven Servi today and watch for Servi Q pricing.

What Bear Robotics Servi Q is

Servi Q is a compact food delivery and bussing robot from Bear Robotics, the company behind the Servi line of serving robots. Bear unveiled it on May 16, 2026, at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, alongside SoftBank Robotics, and calls it the most compact and versatile model in the Servi family Servi Q announcement ↗.

Its key number is width. Bear says it fits through passages as narrow as 18 inches Servi Q announcement ↗ Bear Robotics ↗. By comparison, the original Servi needs 55 to 65 cm depending on tray setup, and Servi Plus needs at least 65 cm, or about 25.6 inches Bear Servi ↗ Bear Servi Plus ↗. Bear says the robot is meant for narrow bars, kitchen corridors, gaps between tables and to go pickup areas, in restaurants, cafes, hotels and other venues Servi Q announcement ↗.

Bear Robotics is backed by LG Electronics, which has taken a majority stake in the company Servi Q announcement ↗ LG newsroom ↗. Hands on testing is in progress, and we will update this review with our results.

What it does well

Tight spaces are the whole point. Beyond the 18 inch passage rating, Bear says Servi Q will reverse when it cannot turn in a narrow space, and it stops when it detects an obstacle while backing up Servi Q announcement ↗. That matters in a crowded bar or a narrow kitchen hallway where a larger robot would get stuck.

Bear also designed it to carry drinks and soups steadily, including over thresholds and during sudden stops Servi Q announcement ↗ Bear Robotics ↗. Spills are one of the main worries owners have about serving robots, so this is a useful focus.

It is built for fleets. Bear describes multi robot orchestration with real time path planning, and peer to peer communication between Bear robots so the fleet can organize itself without a central network and avoid congestion and deadlocks Servi Q announcement ↗ Bear Robotics ↗. Bear suggests pairing it with Servi Plus: the larger robot works the main dining room while Servi Q covers narrow areas Servi Q announcement ↗.

It has a built in display for specials, promotions, branded content or wayfinding, and a wheel cleaning mode with a tangle resistant wheel design Servi Q announcement ↗. Bear's existing robots have a large track record, with more than 93 million restaurant deliveries counted on its site as of the second quarter of 2026 Bear Robotics ↗.

Where it falls short

The biggest gap is information. Bear's announcement does not give the price, dimensions beyond passage width, payload, number of trays, battery life, speed or a full sensor list Servi Q announcement ↗. Without payload and battery figures, you cannot judge how many plates it moves per trip or whether it lasts a full shift.

Availability is also vague. Bear says regional launch schedules and phased rollout dates may change, and it gives no specific commercial launch date Servi Q announcement ↗. RobotLAB, the US integrator we used for serving robot prices, lists Servi and Servi+ but not Servi Q RobotLAB delivery robots ↗.

A smaller robot likely carries less. That is an inference, not a published spec, but it is worth asking about. If you need to clear large tables in one trip, Servi Plus carries up to 88 pounds on 2 to 4 trays Bear Servi Plus ↗.

Pricing and plans

Bear has not published a price for Servi Q. The announcement directs buyers to bearrobotics.ai or 1-844-SAY-BEAR, and Bear's site offers demo booking but lists no prices, financing or robot as a service plans Servi Q announcement ↗ Bear Robotics ↗.

For context, RobotLAB lists the standard Servi from $9,990 to buy or $279 a month, and Servi+ from $13,990 or $479 a month, both on 36 month robot as a service terms RobotLAB delivery robots ↗. RobotLAB also offers a Standard service plan at $199 a month per unit for buyers and leasers, covering support, software updates, parts and labor, and a loaner if downtime runs past 48 hours; robot as a service plans include it RobotLAB delivery robots ↗.

We could not find a warranty term for Servi Q. Ask Bear or your reseller for the warranty, the service plan cost and expected wear parts before you sign.

Who should (and shouldn't) use it

  • Good fit: small cafes, bars and bistros with aisles too narrow for a standard serving robot.
  • Good fit: venues already running Servi Plus that want a second robot for tight corners.
  • Skip it if: you need a robot this month with a firm price; the standard Servi is listed and in stock at US integrators RobotLAB delivery robots ↗.
  • Skip it if: your dining room has 22 inch or wider aisles; a proven full size model will likely carry more.
