OUR VERDICT

The LG CLOi ServeBot is a serving and delivery robot for restaurants, hotels and healthcare sites, carrying up to about 66 pounds across its shelves plus a bottom drawer. RobotLAB's listing mentions $17,900 or $746 a month but also says contact for details, which is far more than a Bear Robotics Servi, and LG has moved its commercial robots into Bear. For most restaurants, the Servi is the better value.

What the LG CLOi ServeBot is

The CLOi ServeBot is LG's self driving robot for carrying food and items. RobotLAB, a large US robotics integrator, sells it as the LG CLOi ServeBot Advanced and pitches it at restaurants, hotels and healthcare RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗. RobotLAB's photos show it in restaurants, assisted living, offices and medical settings RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗.

It stands 51.2 inches tall, 20.1 inches wide and deep, and weighs 132.3 pounds RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗. Each shelf holds up to 22.05 pounds, for 66.14 pounds total, and it comes with a bottom drawer RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗. It senses its surroundings with lidar, a 3D camera, a time of flight sensor and a bumper RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗.

The brand situation has changed. In January 2025 LG took a 51 percent controlling stake in Bear Robotics, the maker of Servi, and said its commercial robot business, mainly the LG CLOi line, would move into Bear LG newsroom ↗. LG said it would focus commercial robots on hotels and restaurants LG newsroom ↗.

We have not tested the ServeBot. Hands on testing is in progress, and this review uses RobotLAB's listing and LG's own announcements.

What it does well

It is built for buildings, not just dining rooms. RobotLAB lists elevator integration, door opener integration and multi floor support, and it works with RobotLAB's Smart Pass system RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗. That suits hotels delivering to rooms or clinics moving supplies between floors.

The bottom drawer adds closed storage on top of the open shelves RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗, useful for items you do not want on display, such as room service orders or medical supplies.

It can be branded. RobotLAB offers custom wraps and sounds RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗.

Support is local. RobotLAB lists US sales, setup and service, and says it handles delivery, on site setup, staff training and ongoing service nationwide RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗.

The parent company has scale. Bear Robotics, now controlled by LG, reports more than 93 million restaurant deliveries by its robots as of Q2 2026 Bear Robotics ↗.

Where it falls short

Pricing is unclear and high. RobotLAB's Q&A gives $17,900 to buy or $746 a month as a service, but the same page's spec table says contact for details RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗. Even at the Q&A price, it costs far more than a Servi, which RobotLAB lists from $9,990 or $279 a month and which carries the same 66 pound total load RobotLAB Servi ↗ RobotLAB delivery list ↗.

Many specs are missing. Battery runtime, speed, number of shelves, screen, call button and fleet software are all listed as contact for details RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗. It takes 5 hours to charge RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗, while Servi runs 10 to 12 hours on a charge and charges in about 4 hours RobotLAB Servi ↗.

Its future is uncertain. With LG's commercial robot business folded into Bear Robotics LG newsroom ↗, Servi is the main line to watch. Ask how long ServeBot parts and software updates will be supported.

It is heavy at 132.3 pounds, much more than a Servi RobotLAB LG ServeBot ↗ RobotLAB Servi ↗.
